St. Philip Preschool Mission

Our mission at St. Philip Lutheran Preschool is to provide a clean and safe environment to preschool children, while fostering each child’s intellectual, social/emotional, physical and moral development in a successful academic program; therefore, setting the stage for each child to reach their potential ability.

Our Vision

The task of raising young children is essentially the job of parents and of the home. This does not mean that the home must do this important job alone, unaided and exclusively through its own efforts. The good home, in fact, may well be the home which seeks out every resource, so that its children get all that they need and to the fullest extent. Seen in this light, preschool is neither a competition nor a threat; it is a supplement to the good home.

Our Purpose is to provide spiritual, social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Counting gains in each of these areas is equally important. To help a child make sense of the world around him/her, to enable him/her to have an abundant life- this is our goal.

We encourage your involvement, your ideas, and your concerns. You are an important part of your child’s development and we need your support and participation. We are looking forward to working with you and having a great year with your child.
