"As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world."
The Women of the ELCA (WELCA) have two meetings each month at St. Philip.
All are welcomed!
We sponsor the community in several ways, such as our local project every month of putting together feminine hygiene kits. This project is called the Homeless Period Project (HPP). Feminine products can be donated and are always welcomed. Feel free to see Dana Lee or Shanna Cisson with questions and/or donations.
